If you have a friend who enjoys eating a variety of sausage and cheeses, then assemble or purchase a gift basket with sausage and cheese items. Set your budget before you begin. It may be more economical -- and you will have more control over the items in the gift basket -- if you assemble the basket on your own.
Instructions
1. Order a sausage and cheese
2. Assemble a sausage and cheese basket by filling a woven basket with paper confetti and a variety of cheese blocks and smoked sausages. You do not need to wrap the cheeses or sausages. Simply place them in the confetti-lined basket with their labels facing up so that the gift recipient can see the different varieties of cheese and sausage you have purchased.
3. Nestle a jar of gourmet spicy mustard, which you can buy at a local grocery store, and a mustard knife in the basket. You also may wish to include a box of crackers of your choice or a small loaf of crusty bread that is prepackaged.
4. Open a large cellophane gift bag and place the basket in the bottom of the bag. These bags can be purchased from an online gift-wrapping vendor.
5. Cut a 10-inch piece of ribbon with a pair of scissors. Gather the bag at the top of the basket handle, and tie the ribbon tightly around the gathered cellophane bag. Tie the ribbon in a bow, and allow the extra ribbon to hang down the sides of the bag.
