Nutirtional yeast mixed with water can replace cheese sauce.
Non-dairy cheeses often include soy products. If you have an allergy to soy, rice-based cheeses are also available. These types of cheese substitute have a different texture and consistency than milk-based cheeses and can be difficult to use, especially if you want the cheese to melt. If you are trying to make a cheese sauce, cheesy soup or other cheese-flavored dish that does not require whole pieces of cheese, nutritional yeast is a good choice. It has a cheesy, salty flavor without any soy or dairy content. It's also packed with B vitamins and fiber, making it a healthier alternative to cheese.
