Fill a tortilla with your choice of meat, cheese and vegetables.
Pinwheel mini sandwiches are made with a wrap filled
Instructions
1. Choose what kind of wrap you want to use. Flour tortillas work well; find them available in original, whole wheat, low-fat, low-carb, spinach and tomato versions. Choose burrito size tortillas for larger sandwiches and soft taco size for smaller sandwiches. You can also use sliced bread as a small wrap by cutting off the crusts.
2. Choose a spread that complements your wrap flavor and other ingredients for the pinwheel sandwiches. The spread is an important component, as it holds the sandwich together. Common spreads include cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and dressing.
3. Choose your sandwich ingredients, such as lunch meat, sliced vegetables and sliced or shredded cheese.
4. Assemble the pinwheel sandwiches by laying your wrap flat and layering it first with the spread, and then the meat, the cheese and the vegetables. Start at one end and roll it up tightly, placing more spread on the sandwich at the end of the roll to "glue" it together. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap or place toothpicks through it to keep it together. Refrigerate the roll for two hours.
5. Remove the plastic wrap or toothpicks. Slice the roll into 1-inch to 2-inch
