Many Christians celebrate Easter Sunday by enjoying a large Easter feast with family and friends. A traditional Easter dinner features a meat entree, such as roast ham or lamb. Many traditional dishes also contain butter, milk, cream and other animal products that vegans do not eat. Making a vegan Easter dinner can be a challenge for some cooks who enjoy preparing a traditional feast. However, careful planning ensures that you can enjoy vegan versions of your favorite Easter dishes.
Instructions
1. Identify the food preferences of all your guests. Ask about allergies or gluten intolerance to ensure you will make a vegan Easter dinner that everyone can enjoy.
2. Choose a vegan alternative to the traditional meat entree. Make a main dish from a soy or wheat gluten alternative to meat. Prepare a curried ham polenta dish or a bacon frittata made from vegetarian meat products. Add a variety of vegetables and spices to make this a hearty, attractive
3. Select two or three side dishes to supplement the main dish. Make a soup, a salad, a vegetable dish or a protein-rich dish to add variety to your meal.
