Baked Pasta With Shrimp & Chicken Recipe







A rich and spicy baked pasta with shrimp and chicken


Baked pasta is an easy to make and convenient dish that can readily feed a large, hungry family. Casserole recipes are usually very flexible and can by flavored with a wide variety of vegetables or meats. This baked pasta dish with shrimp and chicken recipe is perfect for any party or gathering.


Instructions


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Use the butter to grease a glass baking dish.


2. In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, yogurt, half and half, Swiss and feta cheeses, parsley, basil and oregano. Combine until all of the ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.


3. Place half of the cooked pasta evenly along the bottom of the baking dish. Pour the entire can of salsa completely over the pasta. Place half of the shrimp and chicken on top of the salsa and then cover it with the Monterey Jack.


4. Add the rest of the pasta as the next layer, and arrange the remaining shrimp and chicken on top. Spread the yogurt-egg mixture over the entire top of the casserole.


5. Bake for 30 minutes, or just until the top becomes bubbly. Let the dish stand for 10 minutes before serving.
