Radishes come in various shades of reds, combine them to make an interesting radish rosette bouquet.
Not everyone likes radishes but all your guests will be impressed with the red radish rosettes you add as a garnish to salads, vegetable platters and even centerpieces. You may think it's difficult to create this look, but with a sharp knife and a little practice you'll be making
Instructions
1. Be sure to use a
Slice the stems off the radishes so they stand on the cutting board root up.
2. Remove the root by cutting a V into the top of the radish.
3. Imagine an X shape over the first V and cut two more V's into the top of the radish. The top of your radish should now have six points.
4. Position your knife under a point and carefully cut an inverted V under it. Do this under all six points.
5. Soak your cut radishes in cold water for at least 8 hours to allow the "petals" to open.
