Make A Mars Bars And Vodka Drink

Mars bars have been a favorite candy bar around the world for generations and over the years there have been some non-traditional ways to use this traditional treat. If you're the adventurous type, you might like to make a deliciously sweet drink with chocolaty Mars candy bars and vodka. Go easy though, this drink can really pack a punch.

Instructions

Mars Bars and Vodka

1. Chop the Mars bars into chunks.

2. Melt the Mars bars chunks in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. As the candy bars melt, slowly stir in the vodka. Keep stirring until all of the vodka is mixed in, but don't allow the mixture to boil.

3. Allow the mixture to cool and use a funnel to pour it into the empty vodka bottle. Place the bottle in the freezer for at a minimum of 24 hours, and then store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

4. Slice the Mars bars into strips thin enough to fit into the neck of the bottle of vodka.

5. Pour the vodka into a separate container and set it aside.

6. Put the sliced Mars bars into the mouth of the empty vodka bottle, and then pour the vodka back into the bottle, filling it to the top.

7. Attach the lid tightly and place the bottle in a dishwasher on wash cycle. Remove the bottle and shake it to blend the ingredients. If the Mars bars are still solid, run it through one more cycle.

8. Place the bottle in the refrigerator until it's chilled. Serve and enjoy.
