Put A Flour Sifter Back Together After Cleaning

Most Flour sifters take up to eight cups of flour and sift efficiently. There are two different manual kinds. One has a crank, which will be used in this instance. There is all the hand trigger sifter, made for one-handed use. Flour sifters do not need to be disassembled to be cleaned, and if you choose to do so, you should only remove the handle. This will allow you to clean the hole where the handle is inserted into the body of the sifter.

Instructions

1. Dry your flour sifter. Let it air dry in pieces. Make sure there is no flour residue on the sifter. Excess flour can dry out and create problems.

2. Reconnect the handle. Connecting the handle requires you to flex it inward. Once flexed, slide the ends in the two slot holes and release. The handle should straighten on its own. In most cases, the handle does not have to be removed, but you can do so if you wish to make sure all areas of the sifter are entirely clean.

3. Test the reassembled sifter. Turn the crank that rotates the blades inside of the sifter. If they move smoothly, your sifter is ready.
