DAL, or .dal, is a file format used by the "DVD-lab" software from the Mediachance software company and by the SpeedBit "Download Accelerator Plus" program. In "DVD-lab," the .dal file is the main file for a DVD project, and stores information that is specific to program such as titles, project name and project settings. In "Download Accelerator Plus," a program that manages downloaded files on your computer, the .dal file contains a list of associated download URLs.
Instructions
DVD-lab
1. Purchase "DVD-lab" from the Mediachance website or download the free 30-day trial (mediachance.com/dvdlab).
2. Run the "DVD-lab" installation file and follow instructions to install the program. Double-click the "DVD-lab" icon on your "Start" menu or desktop to launch the program.
3. Click on "File" and select "Open." Navigate to the .dal file and double-click on it to open it in "DVD-lab."
Download Accelerator Plus
4. Download the "Download Accelerator Plus" program from the SpeedBit website (speedbit.com).
5. Run the "Download Accelerator Plus" installation file and follow instructions to install the program. Double-click the "Download Accelerator Plus" icon on your "Start" menu or desktop to launch the program.
6. Click on "File" and select "Import." Navigate to the location of the .dal file on your computer. Double-click on the file to import the stored list of URLs into the "Download Accelerator Plus" program.
