Uses For Cider Vinegar

Because it has multiple uses outside the kitchen---such as cleaning and disinfecting---you should always keep a supply of cider vinegar on hand. Since the product is inexpensive, it can save you money on things cleaning supplies and personal care products.

Lice

Cider vinegar dissolves the glue in lice eggs that keeps them attached to hair. Wash your hair with warm vinegar, and dip a comb in vinegar whenever you comb your hair.

Weight Loss

Assist your weight loss efforts by adding 2 Tbsp. of cider vinegar to a glass of water twice per day. The vinegar flushes out fat and increases your metabolism.

Muscle Relaxer

Soaking in a bathtub that contains 2 cups of vinegar added to the water relieves muscle aches since the vinegar provides potassium to restore your muscles.

Gold

Instead of using a chemical product to clean your gold jewelry, you can soak your gold pieces in a cup of cider vinegar for 15 minutes, then dry them with a soft towel.

Sunburn

Soak a cotton ball in cider vinegar and brush the sunburned area as needed, keeping it most, to prevent the skin from peeling.

Morning Sickness

If you are having morning sickness, mix some cider vinegar with water and a teaspoon of honey to ease your stomach.
