When Halloween nears, people begin planning foods to serve at parties. Halloween foods are exciting to guests due to the creativity involved in making them. Serve spiders as desserts at a Halloween party by creating them out of Oreo cookies. The cookies serve as the body of the spider. The addition of other ingredients allows you to turn the ordinary cookie into a scary but whimsical spider treat.
Instructions
1. Twist the Oreo cookies to separate them into two halves.
2. Break four small pretzel sticks in half. Place four pretzels on each side of the Oreo cookie half that contains the most cream. The pretzels need to be placed adjacent from each other to create the spider legs.
3. Place the other half of the Oreo cookie on top of the pretzel legs. Push down carefully to avoid breaking the pretzels.
4. Place two small sections of onto one end of the Oreo cookie. Make the peanut butter sections as large as the round pieces.
5. Place one candy-coated chocolate piece on each peanut butter section to create the spider eyes.
6. Serve the spiders on a platter.
