Decorate Reese'S Peanut Butter Cups For Halloween

Use black licorice to decorate peanut butter cups for Halloween.

Half the fun of the Halloween season is making Halloween crafts and foods. Make a decoration that you can also eat using Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup spiders are a spooky addition to your holiday snack table and also can be something kids can put together themselves for a Halloween party or trick-or-treating. It just takes a few ingredients to create creepy candy spiders you can eat.

Instructions

1. Place the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups upside down, with the bottom facing up.

2. Spread a dollop of chocolate frosting in the center of the cup, or squeeze the frosting onto the cup using a pastry bag for frosting.

3. Place black licorice pieces on the peanut butter cup, using the chocolate frosting to secure them. Thin licorice pieces will look more like spider legs. Alternately, use pretzel pieces to make spider legs. Break a pretzel until you have enough curved pieces to make eight legs. Stick them to the chocolate frosting.

4. Make eyes for the spiders using white chocolate chips for the outside of the eye and a small dab of chocolate frosting to make the eyeball. Stick them on the peanut butter cup with the chocolate frosting.
