Make A Cherry Martini

This is the perfect martini to sip on a spring afternoon as the cherry blossoms are just beginning to show. And with just a few ingredients, you will have your cherry martini made in no time.

Instructions

1. Garnish your glass. Using a lemon wedge, wipe the edge of the glass and then dip the glass in cocktail sugar. Shake off the excess sugar. On the side of the glass, garnish a cherry by slicing it and resting it on the glass.

2. Incorporate ingredients. In a shaker, combine 1 part Cherry Vodka, 1 part Cheri-Berri Schnapps and a splash of lemon-lime soda.

3. Throw in some ice. Place a healthy amount of ice in the shaker, cover and cap it.

4. Shimmy Shake. A shimmy shake requires a bit of forceful shaking combined with subtle shaking done simply with the wrist. Shimmy shake for about thirty seconds.

5. Remove the cap or utilize the strainer and pour the drink into your glass. If you use the standard shot glass measure, this will make one drink.
