Make Homemade Pizza With Kids

Kids love pizza.

There might be no food that kids love more than pizza, but there is a way to make it a little more fun: Let each of your children make his own mini pizza. By doing so, they can add the ingredients they like and avoid the ones they would normally pick off the pizza.

Instructions

1. Add a packet of rapidly rising yeast to warm water and wait five to 10 minutes until it foams.

2. Put the flour, salt and 1/4 cup of olive oil in the mixer and add the yeast. Mix until it forms a ball. Knead with a little more flour and place in a glass bowl.

3. Let the dough rise and punch it down. Divide it into as many sections as there are kids.

4. Put flour on a rolling surface and let the kids start rolling their dough. Once they get the dough flattened, let them cut out whatever shapes they want using cookie cutters.

5. Put the pizza pieces on a baking sheet. Have the kids layer with spaghetti sauce, then cheese, then whatever toppings they choose.

6. Cook for five to 10 minutes at 450 degrees.
