Prepare To Cook Scrambled Eggs







There is a correct way to prepare scrambled eggs to ensure optimal taste, texture and appearance. In addition, there are many different ingredients that you can add during the preparation stage to add some variety to an already delicious and healthy meal. Follow these steps to prepare superior scrambled eggs prior to cooking.

1. Break two eggs into a clean bowl for each person who will be eating. Take care not to drop any shell. If you do, simply wash your hands and pluck it out.








2. Add a splash or two of low-fat milk. You could also use whole milk, cream or half and half. This will add moisture and an improved, rich flavor. You can even add lactose free milk if you are lactose intolerant.


3. Mix the yolks and the whites together with a wire whisk until the egg mixture is uniform in color. A wire whisk with thin wires is better than one with thick wires. This could take up to an entire minute depending on how many eggs you have. The longer beating time will aerate the eggs and make them fluffier.


4. Add any other ingredients that you like. Salt and pepper, cream cheese, salsa or salad dressing are all interesting choices. Just remember that colored items will change the color of your egg mixture, so don't let that alarm you.


5. Experiment with different egg and additional ingredient combinations. Eggs are an inexpensive and nutritious breakfast or light lunch that you can enjoy often.
