Eat A Biscuit







Biscuits have been a basic in our meals for a long time. There are many different types of biscuits and many ways to eat the biscuits. Use the following for some new ideas on eat a biscuit and enjoy it in a whole new way.


Instructions


1. Eat your biscuits plain just right out of the oven. A warm biscuit with your breakfast really makes the entire meal. There's no right or wrong; some people like crisp flaky biscuits, while others prefer a doughier Southern style.


2. Split your biscuit open and fill it with some yummy goodness of your choice. Spoon some jelly, some jam, a dab of butter or squeeze on some honey or maple syrup on your biscuit. Sprinkle some cinnamon over your syrup and you'll think you're eating pancakes.








3. Add some protein to your biscuit with a slice of cheese, a sausage patty, crisp bacon or a slice of ham. Growing in popularity in some areas is the chicken and biscuit breakfast. You don't have to put the meat or protein on the biscuit necessarily; you may just want to eat it alongside your biscuit.


4. Cook some eggs to eat with your biscuit. Eggs of any kind just seem to go with a biscuit, including scrambled, boiled or fried. Use that biscuit to dab up every drop of the fried egg.


5. Put a new twist on your basic biscuit by making it a dessert. Split your biscuit in a dish and pour chocolate sauce all over the top of it. Top it off with some strawberries or bananas, some whipped cream and a cherry. A biscuit can be put in a variety of standard dessert recipes such as strawberry shortcakes or cover it with any type of ice cream and sprinkles.


6. Make biscuits a part of your favorite recipes such as chicken and biscuits. Better yet, let the kids make mini pizzas out of smashed biscuits. They'll have a great time.


7. Order a biscuit in England and you will find that you've ordered a cookie. Different parts of the world call cookies biscuits.
