Best Homemade Mashed Potatoes

Instructions


1. Many people make there homemade mashed potatoes alot of ways, its all about how you want it seasoned. This is the way that my family has


made them for generations and we're still to this day doing it. Its really good. Give it a try


2. First you take ten whole potatoes, peel all the skin off and slice them into little squares. Put them in a pot of water with a teaspoon of vegetable oil to keep them from sticking. Bring them to a boil. Let the potatoes boil for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes or until tender. When they are tender drain.


3. Then pour the potatoes in the dish your going to serve them and then either smash or blend them to the finest that you prefer them normally about 2 minutes for no clumps. Add 1/3 cup of milk, your 3-4 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and mix until all ingredients are blended. Then add salt and pepper to taste. You have the perfect homemade mashed potatoes
