Make Delicious Chicken Wraps







Try these three different chicken wraps, and see which one is for you.


Leftover chicken is a versatile food. There are so many recipes available that use up excess chicken. One of the easiest ways for using leftover chicken is making delicious chicken wraps. People create endless combinations of chicken, sauces and vegetables in wraps trying to make the perfect meal. Each person's individual taste guides the ingredients added to a chicken wrap. Get creative, and make a wrap using leftovers at home.


Instructions


Chinese Chicken Wraps


1. Prepare sauce by mixing corn syrup, strawberry jelly, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger and black pepper in a small microwave safe bowl. Stir the ingredients together, and microwave for one minute. Take the bowl out of the microwave, and let it cool for a few minutes.


2. Place a tortilla (wheat or white) on a flat surface in front of you, and place a handful of chicken in the center of the tortilla -- going in a line away from you. Leave the bottom 1 1/2 inches of the tortilla empty for folding. Add a layer of diced onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. Pour a thin layer of the sauce across the vegetables.


3. Fold the bottom 1 1/2 inches up towards until it touches the vegetables. Fold the left side over towards the center, and fold the right side over the left folded edge. Serve immediately.








Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wraps


4. Blend the corn syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, hot sauce and black pepper in a small microwave safe bowl. Stir the ingredients together, and microwave for one minute. Remove the bowl from the microwave, and let the sauce cool for a few minutes.


5. Place a tortilla (wheat or white) on a flat surface in front of you, and place a handful of chicken in the center of the tortilla -- going in a line away from you. Leave the bottom 1 1/2 inches of the tortilla empty for folding. Add a layer of carrot strips and celery strips. Pour the hot, spicy sauce across the vegetables.


6. Bend the bottom 1 1/2 inches of the tortilla up until it touches the vegetables. Fold the left side over towards the center, and fold the right side over the left folded edge. Serve while hot.


BBQ Chicken Wraps


7. Put 1/4 cup of barbeque sauce in a microwave safe container. Heat the sauce in the microwave for one minute.


8. Place a tortilla (wheat or white) on a flat surface in front of you, and place a handful of chicken through the center of the tortilla. Leave the bottom 1 1/2 inches of the tortilla empty for folding. Add a layer of diced onions and bell peppers. Pour a thin layer of the barbeque sauce across the vegetables.


9. Lift the bottom 1 1/2 inches of the tortilla up until it touches the vegetables. Fold the left side over towards the center, and fold the right side over the left folded edge. Serve immediately.
