Make Espresso Fredo

If you are a coffee connoisseur, you'll love the chilly, Euro-styled coffee drink, Espresso Fredo. This beverage is essentially cold espresso served over ice, and you can make it at home with your espresso maker and a few ingredients/

Instructions

1. Make 2 to 3 shots of strong espresso with your home espresso maker. Use a special espresso roast and grind your beans finely.

2. Add any sweeteners or flavors to your espresso while it is still hot, stirring thoroughly so that the sugar granules dissolve completely. Espresso Fredo is not traditionally a sweetened drink. However, you can adapt the flavor to your preferences.

3. Place 5 large ice cubes in a 16-ounce glass and pour your shots of espresso over the top. For an extra touch, run your glass under water and place it in the freezer for a few hours before serving.

4. Heat the milk with your espresso maker's steam spout, and foam it to your desired consistency. Pour the milk and foam slowly over your ice and espresso. Spoon any extra foam onto the top of your drink.

5. Give your Espresso Fredo a personal touch by adding a dollop of whip cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon or garnishing with a small piece of dark chocolate or a peppermint candy stick.
