Make Easy Honey Bbq Marinade For Ribs Chicken Pork

Honey BBQ marinade pairs well with beef, chicken or pork.

Marinating ribs, chicken or pork before cooking helps to enhance flavor. Marinade also helps keep the meat moist and tender. There are many different flavor combinations you can use to make a marinade, but honey barbecue pairs nicely with a variety of meats. It doesn't take long to make a homemade honey barbecue marinade and you won't need a lot of ingredients to make it.

Instructions

1. Combine ketchup, worcestershire sauce, honey, lemon juice and liquid smoke in a small sauce pan. Stir with a spoon until the ingredients are combined.

2. Place the saucepan on a stovetop burner and set the heat to medium-high. Allow the contents of the pot to come to a boil. Stir occasionally throughout the process.

3. Reduce heat to low and place a lid on the saucepan. Allow the honey bbq sauce to simmer for eight minutes before removing it from heat.

4. Use the marinade right away, or store it in the refrigerator for later use.
