Make A Juicy Juice Box Costume For Halloween

Dress your child as her favorite kind of Juicy Juice.

Cardboard boxes can be used to make a variety of costumes, especially if you are seeking to create a Juicy Juice drink box. They can be found in all shapes and sizes at shipping supply companies, or you can visit your local grocery or department store to get one for free. With a small amount of paint you can dress your child up as his or her favorite flavor of Juicy Juice.

Instructions

1. Obtain a rectangular cardboard box that is large enough to fit over your child's torso. The length should reach from the shoulders to the waist, and the width should be slightly larger than the width of the chest.

2. Cut out the bottom of the box with a sharp utility knife. Cut a hole for your child's head in the other end, and two holes for the arms positioned at shoulder height. If needed, strengthen any cut areas with packing tape.

3. Draw the main features from a Juicy Juice box onto the cardboard box. Use a pencil so that you can erase and redraw if needed.

4. Paint the costume with acrylic paints, then seal it with a gloss sealing spray such as Crystal Clear. This will give the costume a shiny, waxlike appearance similar to the juice box.

5. Make a tube of posterboard large enough to fit on your child's head like a hat. This will form the straw. Secure the tube with hot glue and paint it with spray paint.

6. Dress your child in the costume and hat. If desired, use face paint to color your child's face to match the hat.
