Turkey dressing can be made with a variety of different ingredients,
It's hard to imagine a turkey Thanksgiving dinner without stuffing. Whether made in a traditional manner with bread cubes, onions and celery, or jazzed up with sausage, oysters or nuts, stuffing is an integral part of the Thanksgiving meal. Much like the other parts of the meal, there is usually leftover stuffing. Because of the moisture content of stuffing, it can breed bacteria very easily if not reheated properly. Although stuffing can be reheated in the oven, a much faster way is to reheat using a microwave.
Instructions
1. Place the amount of turkey dressing that needs to be reheated in a microwave-safe container with a vented lid.
2. Place the bowl in the center of the microwave. Set the microwave on high and turn on for two minutes.
3. Remove the bowl from the microwave using oven mitts or a towel. Open the lid carefully, as there may be some residual steam.
4. Use a fork to mix the turkey stuffing in the bowl. Place the lid back on and microwave for another two to three minutes.
5. Remove the stuffing from the microwave and check the internal temperature with an instant read thermometer. Serve the stuffing once it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
