Make Easy Seafood Salad

Easy and delicious served as lunch or as a dip.

Fresh crab or imitation crab work well in this easy seafood recipe. Mix the ingredients together and serve over butter lettuce for an easy luncheon salad. Alternately, serve with crackers as a party dip. Keep the dip bowl chilled, however, as the seafood needs to be kept cold. Add sugar for a sweeter treat and peas and carrots or broccoli for a visually appealing dish.

Instructions

1. Chop the crab meat into small chunks, about an inch diced. Let the shrimp thaw, if frozen, and chop into small 1-inch pieces when almost thawed.

2. Combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon pepper, Old Bay and sugar in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Mix well.

3. Add the shrimp and crab meat to the bowl. Add the vegetables, if you choose. Peas and carrots make the seafood salad colorful, broccoli is also a good option if you prefer a crunchy vegetable.

4. Stir until the dressing coats the seafood and vegetables. Serve immediately.
