Types Of Cheesy Soup

There is a wide range of variations on cheese soups.

Cheese is not known for its role as a soup dish, however there are plenty of cheese soups and cheese soup dishes available. Some of the soup dishes may require much experimentation compared to more traditional soup dishes, but the results could be delicious.

Traditional Cheese Soups

Broccoli and Stilton is one of the more common cheese soups. Other examples of common cheese soups are cauliflower cheese soup, cheese and asparagus soup and blue cheese soup.

Uncommon Cheese Soups

Ham and cheese normally complement each other and they combine to create an unfamiliar soup. More examples of uncommon cheese soups include pumpkin and cheese soup, mushroom and cheese soup and roasted garlic and brie soup.

Extravagant Cheese Soups

Nacho cheese soup can surprise you with a delicious taste. Further examples of extravagant cheese soups include curry cheese and broccoli soup, cheeseburger soup and cheese and onion Soup.

Using Cheese to Complement Soup

Cheese is not only used within soup but can sometimes be used to complement non-cheese-based soup dishes. One example of this is rocket soup with Parmesan cheese on top. This adds to the presentation and flavor. Other examples of using cheese to complement soup include vegetable soup with feta cheese, carrot soup with cheese balls and classic French onion soup with a seal of gruyere cheese melted on top.
