Make Spa Water

Getting the recommended eight glasses of water a day can be difficult, but with refreshing spa water you can make your intake of water more interesting. Spa water is not your average H20, but with a few steps you can create your own version.

Instructions

1. Fill the bottom of a clean pitcher with your ingredients. You can make any flavor you choose, the ingredients dictating the measurements. For instance, citrus spa water made from lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit will require only one sliced fruit, but cucumber may require two whole vegetables.

2. Place a few ice cubes to the top of your ingredients. You also can slice your fruits or vegetables and place them in the freezer for about 4 hours before adding them to your pitcher.

3. Pour sparkling or plain mineral water over your ingredients and shake the pitcher gently to release the flavor from your fruits or vegetables. For best results, allow the pitcher of water to set in the refrigerator for about 1 hour before drinking.

4. Garnish your glass with slices from your fruit or vegetable. Pour and serve. Strain the water as your pour to remove any large pulp.
