Make Apple Crisp Pizza







Apple crisp pizza is a twist on the American favorite, apple pie. A flaky crust, sweet apples, streusel topping and caramel make this easy recipe simply delicious. Make this dessert for a picnic or pot luck. It is always a sure crowd pleaser.


Instructions


1. Roll out a single crust pie pastry to fit a small pizza pan. Fold under edges and crimp with fingers.


2. Combine granulated sugar, 3 tbsp. flour and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Mix well.








3. Peel, slice and core the apples. Cut each apple into 1/2-inch slices, approximately 12 pieces. Add apples to flour mixture and toss.


4. Arrange a single layer of apples in a circular pattern to completely cover the pastry.


5. Combine remaining flour and cinnamon, light brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut butter in until the mix represents small peas. Sprinkle mix over the apples.


6. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until apples are soft but not mushy. Take pizza from the oven.


7. Drizzle dulce de leche ice cream topping over the entire pizza while it is still hot. Cut into 12 pieces. Serve immediately.
