Cook Corned Beef In A Slow Cooker







Corned beef is a wonderful and flavorful meat. There are many ways to prepare this meat, but a slow cooker helps retain its natural juices and makes for a wonderful family feast. Read on to learn cook corned beef in a slow cooker.


Instructions


1. First prepare ingredients. Wash your brisket, chop your onion and dice your potatoes.


2. Plug in your slow cooker and turn settings to high. Add water, onions and 4 tbsp. of Nature's Seasonings to the slow cooker.


3. Take corn beef, and with a knife slice length wise about 1/4 way into brisket. Leave slits in the meat. Then take the Nature's Seasonings and pour a healthy amount into your hands. Using a rubbing motion rub over front and back of meat until covered with one coat of the seasoning. Then add meat to the slow cooker and cover with lid.


4. One hour later take lid off slow cooker and check water level if empty add 1/4 cup water to bottom of slow cooker. Take a fork and turn meat it should be starting to tenderize. Replace lid on slow cooker. Keep checking water level hourly.


5. Three hours after placing meat into slow cooker add potatoes and stir. The meat should be shredding and potatoes and onions should mix into the meat. Turn slow cooker down to medium.


6. Let cook for one-and-a-half to two more hours and then sit to simmer until ready to serve.
