Make A Perfect Omelet

You can fill an omelet with many of your favorite meats, cheeses and vegetables.

Omelets are like pizza to some degree -- you can fill them with whatever you choose and never go wrong. Many people like to add veggies, meats and cheeses, but the combination is only limited by your tastebuds and your imagination. The key is to cook the eggs just the right amount of time so the flavor will be just right.

Instructions

1. Preheat a frying pan on medium heat.

2. Spray with cooking spray when the pan is heated.

3. Crack the eggs in a bowl and add a little bit of oil, some salt and pepper. Whisk the mixture.

4. Add the omelet mixture to the pan and let it cook for a few minutes until egg mixture semi-hardens.

5. Peel the crusty margins from the pan when a crust develops on the margins, using a plastic or wooden spoon, just enough to make sure the mixture does not stick to the pan.

6. Add the filling ingredients when egg mixture begins to set.

7. Allow omelet to cook for two to three more minutes, then fold the omelet while still in the pan. Carefully slide it onto the serving plate.
