Sweet & Sour Meatballs Made With Grape Jelly

Meatballs can be made to have a sweet and sour flavor.

Meatballs are most commonly seen piled on top of a plate of spaghetti covered in spaghetti sauce. There are other ways to eat meatballs, however. One meatball recipe utilizes grape jelly and a few other exciting ingredients to create a sweet and sour taste. This dish goes great with white rice and a cucumber salad. What's even better is that this dish is easy to create, even if you are a novice in the kitchen.

Instructions

1. Pour 1/2 cup grape jelly, and 6 to 8 oz. of chili sauce in your crock pot. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon in to the crock pot at the same time.

2. Place the lid on your crock pot and start heating it up by setting the heat to high heat.

3. Set 1 lb. of ground beef in a large bowl.

4. Add one egg, 1/2 onion, chopped, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, 1 tsp. of salt, and 1 tsp. of pepper.

5. Mix your meat and other ingredients together with your hands. Make sure you washed your hands with soap and water first.

6. Roll the meat in to 1 1/2 inch balls and set them in your crock pot. Let the sweet and sour meatballs cook for 6 hours.
