Use Olive Oil On Potatoes







Olive oil adds flavor to roasted potatoes.


Potatoes are a basic staple food that are very nourishing. They only need a little bit of flavor adornment for a transformed taste. One ingredient you can add to potatoes is olive oil. When you roast potatoes with olive oil, you preserve the juices of the potatoes, and you add the delicate flavor of the olive oil.


Instructions


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


2. Put the cubed potatoes in a bowl. Make sure there is plenty of room above the level of the potatoes. You will need this room to mix and stir the potatoes.


3. Measure the oil, about a tablespoon of oil for every 1/2-pound of potatoes.








4. Pour the oil onto the potatoes.


5. Mix the oil and the potatoes with your hands. Reach to the bottom of the bowl and lift the potatoes up. Keep lifting the bottom potatoes to the top. Eventually, the potatoes will be thoroughly oiled.


6. Grease a baking tray.


7. Place the potatoes onto the baking tray in a single layer.


8. Place the baking tray into the oven.


9. Roast for about an hour. The potatoes are done when they are golden brown.
