Make Bug Juice

Raisins and blueberries are the "bugs" in this juice.

Bug juice is a popular sweet drink that's often served at summer camps. This version has "bugs" floating in it made of raisins and blueberries, making it a fun treat for Halloween parties. You can easily prepare this simple, fruity drink in large quantities for parties. You can easily substitute other dried fruits for bugs and vary the fruit or juice flavors.

Instructions

1. Mash the strawberries with a fork until no large chunks remain. You can also use a blender to puree the frozen berries.

2. Combine the mashed strawberries and lemonade either in the blender or by mixing together in a large pitcher.

3. Pour some of the juice mixture into ice cube trays and add one blueberry or raisin to each cube. Put them in the freezer until frozen.

4. Add ginger ale to the remaining juice mixture.

5. Place raisins and blueberries in glasses or a punch bowl. Add the frozen juice cubes as well.

6. Pour juice mixture over the raisins and blueberries. They will float to the top like "bugs".

7. Drape a Gummi worm over the edge of the glass or bowl for an added touch.
