Make Delicious Crockpot Spareribs

Slow cookers help working adults prepare hearty meals like spare ribs.

The slow cooker was first released to consumers in the 1970's. Since then the need for the product has grown with the decades. In modern culture, the slow cooker allows working adults to prepare hearty roasts and stews for hours at a time without actually being home. The design of a Crock-pot prevents evaporation, allowing foods to braise in their own natural juices for an extended period of time at a low temperature. The end results are stews that combine several flavors and meats that fall off the bone.

Instructions

1. Place thawed spareribs inside the Crock-pot and cover them with water. Set the heat to low.

2. Combine onion, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, celery seed, chili powder and tomato soup into a mixing bowl. Mix with a whisk.

3. Pour the mixture over the ribs.

4. Place the lid on top of the Crock-pot and increase the heat to medium.

5. Cook the ribs or 5 to 6 hours. The mixture should darken and thicken.

6. Reduce the heat to low and serve the ribs.
