Prepare Grilled Kafta Kabob

Also known as a Kofta Kebabs, these wonderful kabobs of grilled ground beef are easy to make and cook up in no time. Originally a Middle Eastern dish, Kofta Kebabs are gaining popularity worldwide as people pursue the desire to grill up quick and easy meals.

Instructions

1. Purchase three pounds of finely ground lean beef. Ask the butcher to run the meat through the grinder twice to duplicate the texture of this traditional meal.

2. Mince the onion and parsley on a cutting board with a sharp knife. The key here is to mince as finely as possible.

3. Add a dash of salt and pepper.

4. Add the minced vegetables to the ground beef and mix throughly.

5. Roll the meat mixture into 2 1/2 inch balls and push onto a wooden skewer.

6. Flatten the balls with your fingers and shape into a finger shape. Place more than one on the skewer if there is room.

7. Grill for 20 to 25 minutes until the meat is no longer pink on the inside.

8. Serve on pita bread, flat bread or a roll of your choice.
