Make A Giant Sandwich Costume

Here's a Halloween costume that will separate you from the pack of trick-or-treaters. You won't see many people dressed as giant sandwiches as you make your rounds. So stand out on that night of ghouls an' goblins. You can make this costume in 3 hours or less.

Instructions

1. Draw the outline of a slice of bread on a sheet of cardboard. Remember the size of the person wearing the costume. The bread must be big enough to more than cover the costume wearer.

2. Cut out the outline of the bread. Spray paint the bread white.

3. Line the outside edge of the bread with the foam and cut to size. Spray paint the foam brown. Glue it around the edge of the bread with adhesive to make the crust.

4. Lay the foam flat on the crust to measure it. Cut the foam in scalloped shapes for lettuce. Spray paint the lettuce green and glue it to the crust.

5. Place one section of foam around the edge for the meat. Cut to size and spray brown with red areas for sauce. Glue to the lettuce.

6. Cut 3 triangles for the cheese and paint them yellow. Place them on the sides and bottom of the sandwich. Glue them to the meat so the yellow shows around the edges.

7. Repeat the steps for the back of the costume.

8. Make 2 straps to hold the sandwich over your shoulders. Tape 4 pieces of duct tape together to make a strong strap. Repeat the process so you have 2 straps.

9. Attach the straps to the inside of the sandwich with duct tape.
