Make Italian Seasoned Chicken







If you need a hearty meal in a hurry, you can't go wrong with a steaming platter of Italian seasoned chicken served over hot, buttery pasta. Add a fresh vegetable and some crusty garlic bread, and you're got a delicious and satisfying dinner. This recipe serves 4.


Instructions


1. Make a marinade by combining the extra virgin olive oil with the Italian seasoning and garlic in a shallow dish.


2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Turn the chicken over, recover and refrigerate another 15 minutes.








3. Place the chicken breasts in a greased casserole dish and discard the marinade.


4. Bake the chicken at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes or until the breasts are no longer pink inside.


5. Cook the angel hair pasta or fettuccine noodles according to the directions on the package, and place the cooked noodles in a large serving dish. Toss with olive oil and butter.


6. Slice the chicken and serve over the hot pasta.
