Yummy with a simple marinade
Cooking meat is something most people do on a daily basis, and many people use a marinade as their choice means for seasoning. Marinades come in many varieties and flavors, but it is easy to make your own at home, and you more than likely have the few simple ingredients that it requires to make a quick and easy marinade.
Instructions
Mixing the marinade and chilling out
1. Combine 1 cup of olive oil with 1 cup of
2. Mix in 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and one tablespoon of salt or seasoned salt to the lemon juice/oil mixture. Stir until it mixes well.
3. Add one tablespoon of crushed rosemary, or about one sprig's worth of fresh leaves to the mixture.
4. Stir the marinade mixture well until the ingredients are as evenly distributed as you can get them.
5. Add the meat to the bag of marinade, usually about 4 chicken breasts or pork chops will work just fine. Seal the bag and shake to coat all of the outer surface of the meat.
6. Place in the refridgerator for at least 30 minutes, with 60 minutes being ideal before use. Some people like to turn the bag over several times while the meat is soaking.
