Make Curried Chicken Balls







Curried chicken balls are a unique appetizer that is sure to please even the most discriminating palates. They are a no cook appetizer that is easy to throw together at a moments notice, or they can be made ahead of time and kept in the freezer for up to a month. Curried chicken balls are perfect for parties, potlucks, or anytime you want a delicious, yet slightly out of the ordinary snack.


Instructions


1. Combine 2 packages cream cheese, 2 tablespoons orange marmalade, 2 teaspoons curry powder and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper in a large mixing bowl.


2. Beat the cream cheese, marmalade, curry powder and black pepper mixture with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth.


3. Stir in chicken, onions and celery.


4. Roll mixture into small balls.


5. Roll curried chicken balls in finely chopped pecans or almonds.


6. Chill curried chicken balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.


7. Enjoy curried chicken balls alone or spread on crackers or toasted bread.
