Make Iced Green Tea To Boost Your Metabolism

Iced green tea is a refreshing alternative to water or soda, and studies have shown it can boost your metabolism. Green tea is also loaded with antioxidants to help keep you healthy. But buying it one bottle at a time can get expensive. Here's make your own. It's so easy you may never want to get another bottle of green tea from the store again!

Instructions

1. Place two tea bags in a jar. They can both be green tea, or have one green tea and one another kind. I like to use one green tea and one mint tea. Lemon is also a good choice. Feel free to use your imagination.

2. Add a small amount of sweetener if desired. I like to use a single packet of Splenda

3. Pour boiling water over the tea bags until they are completely covered. Let stand 20 minutes or more. It's okay to forget your green tea is seeping for a while, I've let mine seep as long as an hour.

4. Remove tea bags and add cold water until the jar is full. Cover and keep in the refrigerator. Enjoy througout the day over ice.
