Old Chicago is a pinball machine made by the Bally Manufacturing Company. It was released in April 1976. The value of the Old Chicago depends on a couple of factors, including condition and availability.
Description
The Bally Old Chicago pinball machine features gangster, John Dillinger, on the night he walked out of the Biograph Theater and was gunned down by federal agents. The woman in red, Anna Sage, is also on the machine. She betrayed Dillinger to the FBI agents.
Specifications
The machine has a higher value if all the moving parts still work. The Old Chicago is an electro-mechanical pinball machine, meaning it has mechanical parts and a few electronic parts. It has two flappers, five bumpers, and targets that stand-up, spin or drop.
Availability
There were only 7,155 units of the Bally Old Chicago made. Some of them can still be found for sale through collectors or shops that refurbish used machines. As of 2010, the cost of the pinball machine can be anywhere from $500 to $2,000, depending on condition.
